Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

I've finally submitted my resign letter today. My boss wasnt around since he went overseas, so I submitted to CJ, he's like the second boss of the company. Well, he talked to me, asked abt the reason I leave. He asked me what do I wanna achieved in the future...... I've never really thought about this. haha yeah~

not that this is the first person who asked me this question. But I've never been able to answer this.... He said "isn't that not good?" I just smile.

I've never thought of becoming an animation director (I'm an animator if anyone doesnt know), or opening my own company. Probably because I dun think I can handle it

People say without a target, you'll lost urself. Am I lost now? am I wandering without any direction? I dunno......

I hate my colouring. >_< I wish to improve, but what can I do with them? become a great comic artist? or illustrator? I'll let fate decide, i guess......

ppl tell us how we have to face your job whether u like it or not, i find it true but i wonder does it apply to what we do? i dont think so. its my 2 cents on that.

you're improving everyday even if u do not know it. ian told me that we could be late....bloomers? lol i dunno wat was the word but he may be true. today u might think that ur not heading anywhere. but tommrow u could be somewhere better and doing something bigger and actually enjoy it.

i dunno wat i really want too for now but i do know that i want to be working where i can actually enjoy working in a group n doing something where everyone can think of it as fun. wouldnt u agree?

ur coloring does need a lot of work when i see ur duller palletes but in other stuffs like ur backgroudns u chose much better colors. weird. haha
im sure ur coloring is good. just like ur drawing, u will improve much faster than most of us.
